Jennifer Chunko Villella

Having lived entirely in Lancaster County during a time before development was rampant, I was fortunate to be surrounded by wide-open spaces both agricultural and wooded. This environment has deeply shaped my passion for all things natural and, in turn, has manifested in many of my art pieces. My intention is to bring the beauty and purpose of the natural world – plants, insects, animals, and landscape – to the viewer’s attention and hopefully inspire a desire to preserve and protect it.

 

Some of my work that isn’t focused on the natural world will depict an image like a snapshot of a thought, memory or still moment. These images made an impact on me enough that I wanted to share them in art form.
